CJW was started in 2002. This chopper shop, unlike all the others was not created to be a TV show or a fad, but to address the needs of people who want to remain individuals. 
Everybody has a dream, and some of us take longer to fulfill our dreams. Well the owner, Brett Wider couldn’t wait any longer. He decided it was his time to follow his dream, and he has. As he continues to go to his day job, he thinks, “I want to leave a memory, not only for the community, but in people’s lives”. How better to do that then to create, to build, to fabricate what others will remember for the rest of their lives.
Hello CJW choppers! This is a dedication to Charles J Wider, the inspiration which words cannot represent, but the work we do, that makes him proud each and every day. His motto that has been ingrained in us, is to,”measure twice and cut once”.
It started with hot rods in the 80’s, trucks with lift kits and 44’ tires, Mustangs, Chevelles, Chevy trucks, then off-shore race boats, and then motocross. When will it end? Well it won’t, and why should it. Now it was time to put it to the pavement on two wheels!
The freedom that we enjoy in America, the freedom of the open road, the freedom to be who we are and ride what we want! Can we say it any clearer; “We are still and will forever be, made in America”. To this day CJW makes customers and employees proud to create projects for the proud. CJW is proud to offer any and all types of custom fabrication, repairs, maintenance, modifications, lighting, brakes, wheels, engine, transmission, if you can think of it, we’ll do it.
